RapidWeaver

When it comes to finding the right web creation and site management tool , everybody has his own killer tool. From the bare bone HTML editor up to the care free WYSIWYG editor, you can get almost variations these days.

I had a challenge myself when I finally migrated to the Mac 2 years ago. I was a long time big supporter of NetObjects Fusion on Windows, which at the time was one of the only tools out there not only limited to pure page creation. In addition Fusion offered an plugin API that allowed me to extend Fusion with all those missing features. Beside several minor addition I created a full-fledged database integration layer that allowed me to easily create DB driven websites.

Moving to the Mac left a big gap right there and I basically didn't do much web editing so far. Just recently I finally got in touch with RapidWeaver from Realmac Software. What separates RapidWeaver from most of the available web creation tools is the fact that it is fully template driven and leveraging all current web standards, mainly CSS and HTML.

Meanwhile I consider myself a real RapidWeaver pro and some of my achievements can be found here. Why not giving RapidWeaver a try?
